Aadi's performance in his recent films showed that he had the mettle in him to be a better actor. This role hardly provided him an opportunity to take him one level up. Russian born-Australian model Kristina Akheeva chose to be bold. Erica Fernandez could sure have a packed a punch into her acting. Should you watch the movie? Not if you want to allow a serpent into your paradise to wreck your marriage by sowing the seeds of divorce in your mind. Stay away. First half of the film is entertaining with a few masala scenes/dialogues. Second half concentrates on emotions and values in relationships. Plus points of the film are story, dialogues and music. The forced entertainment scenes (Saptagiri/Chandra comedy episodes) doesn't work in second half. The success of this film will depend on how the second half works for youth. On a whole, Gaalipatam is a bold film that is narrated in an interesting way (I still feel that second half should have been handled in a balanced way instead of going in completely emotional mode).Visit Site for more

Full of adult jokes, the first half is time-pass if you enjoy such comedy. But in the second half, the film tries to teach and preach which gets very boring. There are too many messages, actually there is something for all – for sons who leave their mothers to earn money, to husbands who leave their wives at home and enjoy with other women, to children who sacrifice their love and marry others against their choice, to parents who don’t understand their children’s love and force them to go for an arranged marriage. So, one gets lecture after lecture about these topics, which makes the viewing tiresome. Of course, such films do have a message towards the end. But in Gaalipatam, the entire second half is dedicated for such preaching.Visit Site for more

Few decent performances, couple of songs and a few punchy - rhyming dialogues alone don't make an interesting rom-com if the plot and direction is lackluster. First half of the film is routine but has some good entertaining episodes, it’s the second half where director tries something out of the box and fails to convey it properly. Positives of the film are Cinematography, Music, Basic Point and few dialogues. The film misses the point in the second half but nevertheless makes us smile for a while.Visit Site for more
